Never Again?  Exposing the Atrocities Committed in the Name of Religion

The Honorable Frank Wolf Addresses RRLS on Monday, June 13

The Message

Former Congressman Frank Wolf and colleagues from the 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative went into the heart of barbarians to examine the atrocities of genocide, rape, and kidnapping by Boko Haram.

They took significant risks to their own lives to get this story first hand. There is no pretense of religious freedom in Nigeria. You can hear it about directly from Congressman Wolf, during one of his first public exposés. You will see his passion for justice and religious freedom throughout the world!

Presenter – The Honorable Frank Wolf

Known as the “conscience of the House” while he represented Virginia’s 10 th congressional district, Frank Wolf advocated for religious freedom around the world. His fact finding missions were not thinly veiled vacations but sacrificial trips confronting totalitarian governments and advocating for the rights of all individuals to practice their own religion without government oppression.

After serving 30 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, Frank Wolf has pursued that well known passion for worldwide religious freedom by joining the 21 st Century Wilberforce Initiative as a Distinguished Senior Fellow .  During his time in Congress, Wolf authored the International Religious Freedom Act and legislation to create a U.S. State Department special envoy to advocate for religious minorities in the Near East and South Central Asia.  The founder and co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, Wolf’s honors include the 2015 Wilson Chair in Religious Freedom at Baylor University, the Presidential Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights, and the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview’s William Wilberforce Award.

The mission of the 21 st Century Wilberforce Initiative is to create a world where religious freedom is recognized by nations across the globe as a fundamental human right. Let us stand together to defend the vulnerable and victimized, and to champion religious freedom and respect for the equal human dignity of persons of every faith.” Learn more at www.21Wilberforce.org
